Private Apartment
Milano

Back to works

The renovation of the apartment entails the creation of new spaces and rationalization of existing ones, while maintaining the distribution typical of the 1930’s building and where possible the original flooring. The intervention introduces a wooden furniture element along the central axis which becomes the backbone of the apartment. Acting both as a separation and a link between the main and service spaces, the element itself is also articulated with finished interiors. Vertical furniture elements of oak and maple dialogue both formally and chromatically with the new Brera stone floor and the existing floors composed of cement tiles and parquet.
